Mask Gallery This side of the beaded embroidery mask has some vines made with drop (or fringe) beads, and seed beads for the wisteria. My favourite mask is this spring floral one. It has large flat flower caps and pinch beads with seed beads. Detail of the bleeding heart flowers. They’re made with Czech pressed glass hearts, seed beads and embroidery A bit tricky to get symmetrical, but I like the subtlety. A little goes a long way. This one uses pinch beads and seed beads. Little abstract circles. I sew the circle first using beadweaving techniques, then attach it to the mask. It’s much easier and tidier that way. A folk-inspired mask in classic khaki and red. The other side, with clustered flowers and butterflies. A nordic or ‘fair isle’ design using only beads. Getting these even requires patience, Im dissapointed that i lost this mask right after i finished it! Read some ‘How To’ tips, materials and more here.
